Birthdays and Anniversaries

It's my birthday next week and was my partner's birthday last weekend...

Normally, I'd be going abroad maybe for a city break. 2 years ago we went to Barcelona - just before Covid.

This time, we went to the Lake District... It reminds me how great our own country is.

Hopefully, one remnant from the pandemic is British Tourism is revitalised.. We have so much that is great to do and visit in our own country.

It's sad when I talk to people who have been all over the world but haven't been to Stonehenge or Alnwick for example...

So this weekend, I'm enjoying the Lakes on a very cold but clear weekend....

It's been a period of significant anniversaries.. Whilst I'm 51 this week, I didn't celebrate my 50th due to lockdown so this is my 50th weekend! My better half was celebrating her 40th.

And later this year, my company is 25 years old. I'm reflecting on this a lot and how the motor trade and my business has changed over that time... In some ways massively, in others not at all....

The challenges are different.... Yet the same....
